Churchlife News & Events
The Christian holiday Lent begins Ash Wednesday, lasting 40 days (excluding Sundays). Representing the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness, Lent is a time in our faith to reflect, fast, and give penance in preparation of Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday.
CORONAVIRUS COVD-19 UPDATE
are canceled through April.
May's schedule will be announced by the FPC Session on or after April 30th, 2020.

Through our deep faith and trust in God, may we continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit as the Body of Christ beyond the church walls - connecting through phone calls, emails, social media, and most importantly, through our prayers. May the peace of Christ which surpasses all understanding be with you in the coming days.
If you would like to participate in the Fellowship of the Least Coin, be sure to pick up information and a devotional book this Sunday in the lower vestibule of FPC. Just a penny for each prayer goes a long way in helping impoverished women and children around the world.
First Presbyterian's Family Life Center serves as a collection site for ministries and missions. This year, FPC welcomes a new local ministry – HOSPICE CARE BAGS for patients and their families.
Kleenex, Gripper Socks, and Dollar Store Large-Print Word Searches are needed, in addition to toiletries, snacks, calendars and writing pens.
